Administrative Assistant II in the China Affairs Office, Admissions and Academic Liaison Section of the Registry (Ref.: 494053) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years' working experience, preferably in the education sector. They should also have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; the ability to work independently with initiative and under pressure, an outgoing personality; excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and IT proficiency. Working experience in marketing and China relations is preferred.
The appointee will provide administrative supports to the University’s development projects in Mainland China, plan and organize networking activities, and perform other duties as assigned by the Section Head. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
