Executive Officer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 494203) (to commence as soon as possible on a two year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor' degree or above in language studies, health sciences, business administration, or a relevant discipline, with at least 3 years' relevant executive experience in tertiary institutions. Possession of a Master's degree would be an advantage. Applicants should have an excellent command of written and spoken English (an overall band score of 7.5 or above in IELTS or equivalent) and Chinese, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in IT. They should demonstrate the capacity for independent action, the ability to perform diversified duties, the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
The appointee will provide executive support to senior administrators in overseeing the lifecycle of academic programmes, from curriculum design and development through to their delivery and validation. He/She will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a wide spectrum of administrative activities, spanning from student recruitment, admissions, timetabling, practicum placement, assessments and examinations, committee services, external review and quality assurance, event coordination, and special projects as assigned. Work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or a written test.
