Research Assistant II (holding the functional title of Research Executive/Research Project Assistant) in the Faculty of Social Sciences for the Public Opinion Programme (Ref.: 201701546) (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicant should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences or relevant disciplines; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in MS applications, particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing; good project planning, organizational and communication skills; and a strong sense of responsibility. They should also be self-motivated and mature; able to work independently; and handle multi-tasks. Those with good knowledge of statistical applications such as SPSS and proven experience in translation are preferred. The appointee will assist the research team to coordinate research projects on various topics; prepare research reports and press releases; translate materials; carry out quality control measures; and provide support to large-scale social projects when needed.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
