(A) Research Associate (Ref.: 201701561) (B) Research Assistant I/II (2 posts) (Ref.: 201701562) in the Department of Chemistry (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal) 

For post (A), applicants should possess an M.Phil. or a Ph.D. degree in Organic Synthesis. They should be experienced in using NMR for structural elucidation and be able to work independently. Fresh graduates will also be considered. The appointee will be responsible for synthesizing naturally-occurring substances in a multi-disciplinary laboratory of chemical biology, drug discovery, natural products and cancer research.  For post (B), applicants should preferably have an M.Phil. or a B.Sc. degree with at least two years' research experience in Biological Science. They should also have good knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry. Research experience in cell culture, gene and protein analyses, genetic manipulations, proteomics, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and/or animal handling is desirable. The appointee will conduct research projects in a multi-disciplinary laboratory of chemical biology, drug discovery, natural products and cancer research. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
