Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Pathology (Ref.:201701724) (to commence as soon as possible for one to two year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a B.Sc. degree or an M.Phil. degree in Biological/Medical Sciences or a related discipline. Experience in molecular and cell biology and tissue culture in relation to cancer research and ability to work independently are required.  Those who have experience in use of animal models for cancer research are preferred.  The appointee will work on genetics and cell signaling in liver cancer. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointments on two-year fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
