Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the In-service Teacher Education Programme (INSTEP) Office of the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 201800061) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree preferably with at least 2 years’ full-time work experience; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and strong computer literacy and numeric sense.  They should also have good interpersonal and organizational skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work independently with attention to details.  The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to organize teacher professional development programmes commissioned by external agencies such as the Education Bureau. Duties will include: coordinate and handle programme applications/admissions, enquiries, delivery and evaluation; draft correspondence, reports and meeting notes; handle finance related matters; and perform other duties as assigned.  The appointee will be required to work on alternate Saturday mornings (mainly from November to June).  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
