Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Registrar (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine in regard to the GH redevelopment project, to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree, with at least 10 years’ relevant hands-on managerial experience at supervisory level, preferably in a tertiary institution, public organization, NGO or a healthcare related field.  A postgraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences or related subjects or a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with relevant professional qualifications and experience would be an advantage.  They should be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and be able to work proficiently with complete independence and under immense pressure.  They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, project management and supervisory skills; and good computer literacy.

The appointee is expected to join the GH redevelopment project team of the Faculty and oversee all aspects of the GH redevelopment, in particular the establishment of CCID and ICC.  He/She will work/liaise closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, supervise junior administrative and clerical staff, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary (up to HK$1,426,260 per annum) commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.  Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
