Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in Medical Ethics in the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education, to commence as soon as possible for one year.

Applicants should possess a medical degree with experience in clinical work and further training in medical ethics or bioethics, and with strong interest in medical humanities and ethics.  They should show solid evidence of teaching with potential in curriculum development.  The appointee is expected to conduct face-to-face teaching in the medical humanities and medical ethics as required.  He/She will oversee the development of a cohesive and evidence-based framework for medical ethics teaching that integrates with the existing medical humanities programme.  In response to the changing environment of higher education, the appointee will develop innovative teaching and learning activities and assist in drafting assessment tasks and examination questions as necessary.  He/She will also coordinate with clinicians and assist in designing faculty development activities related to ethics.
