Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (several posts) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 201800084) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ full-time work experience in either one of the following areas: (1) research and research postgraduate administration; or (2) communications and public relations, especially in stakeholder engagement, fundraising, donor relations, event management, alumni affairs and networking. Applicants for Administrative Assistant II are expected to have at least 8 years’ work experience. They should be self-motivated with strong initiatives, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.  They should also possess outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); and the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

The appointees will work in one of the following areas: research and RPg administration, OR development and networking/event organization and management.  For research and RPg administration, the appointees will work on research portfolios, in particular, Faculty research support programmes, institutional funding schemes, external research grants, Research Assessment Exercise, and the research postgraduate programmes.

For development and networking/event organization and management, the appointees will focus on the enhancement of alumni network, including lining up of alumni of the Faculty in Hong Kong and beyond, supporting the new initiatives of the Faculty on the mainland, as well as event organization and management.  They will be required to work irregular hours, at weekends and on holidays. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
