IT Officer in the Information Technology Services (Ref.: 201800091) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, preferably with 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also possess professional knowledge in website and video production, web programming (i.e. JavaScript, Java Servlet, PHP, XML, and related technologies) and database programming (i.e. MySQL/Oracle/SQLServer). Those with knowledge in mobile app programming, SOAP and REST web services, certification in ITIL, PRINCE2 and relevant experience in project management are preferred. The appointee will support various user services including web and app programming development, websites development and maintenance, design and production of promotional videos and materials, user training, Service Desk support and preparation of user documentations; and perform other duties as assigned.
