IT Assistant in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 201800092) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE; or a recognized diploma.  They should have in-depth knowledge of software applications including MS Office, Photoshop, and Premiere; and be highly competent in troubleshooting and maintenance of PC, TCP/IP networking and website development.  Knowledge of MAC and spoken Putonghua would be an advantage.  Applicants should also be self-motivated and proactive, with proven organizational and problem-solving skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills; be a good team player and have a strong sense of responsibility.  The appointee will provide photo and video taking, audio visual and IT technical services to various courses/workshops; assist in setting up the venue, troubleshooting and maintenance of the Department’s computing facilities; provide technical assistance to staff members; maintain and updated Department websites; and perform other duties as assigned.
