Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Geography (Ref.: 201800101) (to commence on April 1, 2018 for one year until March 31, 2019, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess an M.Phil. or Ph.D. degree in Geography; a Master’s degree in Geography, Geoinformation Science, Computer Science, Transportation Engineering or a related discipline; excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge in computer programming; and at least 2 years of relevant research experience. The appointee will work on Professor Becky P.Y. Loo’s project on smart mobility. He/She will work on the transport network and database integration with ArcGIS, develop behavioural models in a time-space framework and perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
