Research Assistant II in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (Ref.: 201800119) (to commence as soon as possible for three months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Medicine, Biomedical Science, Computer Science or other related disciplines. Experience in medical research and statistical analysis would be preferred. They should have proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a collaborative team environment. Those with quantitative skills and competency with statistical or computer modeling software (such as R, Stata, Matlab, etc.) would have an advantage, although not required. The appointee will organize and coordinate research projects, and be involved mainly in imaging data and clinical data retrieval. Some data processing and statistical analytic skills will also be required. Frequent travel to the affiliated teaching hospitals of The University of Hong Kong (including HKU-SZH) is required (transportation will be provided).
