Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Statistical Modelling - Early Childhood Development in the Faculty of Education, to commence on September 1, 2018 for a period of three years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in educational evaluation, psychology, mathematics, statistics, economics, social sciences, public health or a related analytical field with strong logical and statistical skills. They should have at least 2 years’ experience in sophisticated statistical modelling. Applicants must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.

The appointee will be responsible for utilizing existing large datasets, performing advanced statistical analysis and modelling, preparing and analyzing datasets collected from upcoming projects, as well as writing and contributing to manuscripts and grant applications. He/She will be expected to work under the supervision of Professor Nirmala Rao, Professor John Bacon-Shone and Dr. Patrick Ip.
