Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in the Department of Surgery, to commence as soon as possible for two to three years.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with proven experience and good publication record in the areas of Developmental Biology, Stem Cell Biology or Neuroscience. They should also be outstanding and self-motivated with a proven research track record in the relevant areas.  Experience in handling transgenic/knockout mice, primary cell culture, flow cytometry or confocal imaging is essential.  Experience in electrophysiology and patch-clamp analysis or human pluripotent stem cell culture will be an advantage. The appointees are expected to join a young and dynamic research group working independently to study neurogenesis using human pluripotent stem cells and/or animal models.  Enquiries regarding these positions should be directed to Dr. Elly Ngan at
