IT Officer in the Finance and Enterprises Office (Ref.: 201800171) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end-gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a recognized degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines with at least 3 years' solid work experience in user support and data extraction (e.g. by SQL tools), system implementation and testing on ERP systems. Possessing professional skills in using MS Access and Excel as well as programming for office automation are definitely advantageous. They should be good team players with innovative thinking, good communication skills and the ability to learn fast, work under pressure with minimal supervision and deliver results within tight timeframe. They should also have the ability to multi-task, and be result-oriented and self-motivated. The appointee will assist in the implementation of system applications and be responsible for carrying out data retrieval, analyses and projection; programming of office automation and providing user support for system applications.
