Research Assistant II in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201800180) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or a Master’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Health or Statistics, with at least 1 year’s work experience. Preference will be given to those with research-related experience and experience in coordination of community-based projects, as well as knowledge of applied public health and population sciences. Applicants should also be detail-minded, and able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese and English; knowledge of the academic and/or social sectors; and the ability to work closely with external parties such as academics, social service groups, etc. The appointee will perform a wide range of duties including data collection, data management, data analysis, coordination of the production of research reports; and perform any other duties assigned by supervisors. He/She will also be responsible for coordination of territory-wide public health programmes, and close liaison with collaborators and the partners.
