Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 201800185) (to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a related background in the development of molecular metal-based OLED emitter. They should have strong experience in chemical synthesis and characterization of organic ligands and phosphorescent metal complexes as well as the measurement of their photophysical properties. A strong sense of responsibility, proficiency in written and spoken English, good organizational skills, and an ability to work independently are required.  The appointee will be engaged in an ITF project on the development of luminescent metal complexes for OLED applications under the supervision of Professor C.M. Che.
