Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref.: 201800192) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding)

Applicants should possess an M.Phil. or a Ph.D. degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ working experience in Molecular Biology, Tissue Culture and Animal experiments. Knowledge and experience in Medical Laboratory would be an advantage. Applicants should also have a strong sense of responsibility; be able to work independently and be attentive to detail. The appointee is expected to develop new technologies, and provide technical advice and training in the research laboratory.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
