Clerk II (holding the functional title of Programme Assistant) in the Department of Professional Legal Education (Ref.: 201800196) (to commence on April 3, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal) 

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007); OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language. Preference will be given to those with work experience in local tertiary institutions. They should also be self-motivated and able to work independently, and have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of PC and software applications, and good organizational and communication skills.  The appointee will assist the Programme Directors, Admissions Director and Programme Manager in admissions-related matters and all aspects of administration and operation for the self-funded part-time PCLL programme; undertake other administration duties; organize lectures, tutorials and seminars; distribute application forms, promotional materials, and lecture and tutorial materials; and perform any other duties as assigned.  He/She may be required to work in the evenings on weekdays and on Saturdays.
