IT Officer in the Information Technology Services (Ref.: 201800201) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, preferably with 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good communication, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also possess professional knowledge in mobile app and web application development; big data technologies (i.e. Hadoop, Spark, Map Reduce, ETL Frameworks, NoSQL etc.); and database programming (i.e. MongoDB/MySQL/SQLServer etc.). Those with experience in React Native and Node.js, certification in ITIL, PRINCE2 and relevant experience in project management are preferred. The appointee will support software development, user services and perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
