Research Assistant I in the School of Chinese Medicine (Ref.: 201800542) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Master/MPhil degree and preferably a PhD degree in Biological Science, Chemical Science or related disciplines. They should also have a good track record in related research, good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and be self-motivated with good organizational skills. Experience in laboratory work with medical examination, chemical analysis, cell and molecular techniques, as well as animal experiments, such as TLC, HPLC, cell culture, real-time RT-PCR, Western blot, measurement of biochemical parameters in blood and histopathological section techniques are required. Applicants with less qualification and/or work experience may be appointed as Research Assistant II. The appointee will be responsible for performing relevant medical examination, biomedical parameters measurement, cell molecular biological and animal study in the field of Chinese Medicine.
