Full-time/Half-time Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 201800574) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline. Those with expertise in the area of child/youth development and psychosocial/behavioral health will be preferred.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (simplified Chinese); adequate knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research and data analysis; preferably certain familiarity with Atlas.ti and/or STATA, Excel and PowerPoint; good interpersonal communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.  They should also be capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. The appointee will work on research projects related to at-risk youth development, community-based intervention research, as well as nonprofit transparency. He/She will be responsible for literature research and review, data management, quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis, report writing, and other research-related duties as assigned.
