Senior Research Assistant in the Journalism and Media Studies Centre (Ref.: 201800595) (to commence on September 1, 2018, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Journalism or Media Studies; at least 3 years' work experience; a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; the ability to work independently; and good computer skills, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.  They should be self-motivated.  Experience in social media would be an advantage.  The appointee will be responsible for project execution, data interpretation, project communication, and providing relevant teaching assistance.  He/She will be a key researcher working on a project on news literacy.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
