Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Biomedical Engineer) in the Neural Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref.: 201800610) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a university degree with second upper honour or above, preferably in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.  Those who have interests in developing medical image processing and computer intelligence are preferred.  They should have the capability of software installation and implementation at OS X (10.8+) and Debian/Ubuntu/Fedora/RedHat/CentOS platforms, and software development of biomedical signal, image processing and data mining. The appointee will work on genetic and epigenetic researches in clinical MRI image analysis.
