Systems Support Officer (at the rank of IT Technician) in the University Health Service (Ref.: 201800617) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System or a related field, preferably with at least 5 years’ relevant experience.  They should have good knowledge in Linux and Windows server administration and networking. Experience in content management systems for website (e.g. Drupal, WordPress), knowledge of information security (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, vulnerability scanning) and vendor management experience are required. Certification in System administration, Database, ITIL v3 Foundation or PRINCE2, as well as computer programming (e.g. PHP, JSP, HTML, MSSQL and MySQL) would be advantageous. The appointee should be a team player with good customer service and excellent communication skills; be self-motivated and hard-working; and have a strong sense of responsibility.  He/She will be responsible for server management, specialized/integrated systems support, maintenance of websites, as well as desktop and end user IT support.
