IT Officer in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 201800618) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ experience relevant to information technology, web design and development and/or project coordination, preferably within the context of a tertiary institution or a public sector/non-governmental organization. They should have hands-on experience in using web design software, internet-related technologies and applications such as Moodle, PHP and MySQL; and expertise in e-learning (preferably in instructional design) to support the implementation of e-learning initiatives, coordinate e-learning support and facilitate the use of technology to support teaching activities. Preference will be given to those with professional knowledge and experience in PRINCE2 or PMP. Applicants should also have an excellent command of English and Chinese as well as a good level of communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; and be self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure. The appointee will provide IT and administrative support to the development of e-learning and multimedia interfaces and good practices for the Faculty’s education programmes and related research projects.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
