Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Coordinator) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 201800636) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Nursing, Counselling, Social Sciences, Social Work, Statistics, Public Health, or other healthcare-related disciplines. Knowledge of and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods would be an advantage. Applicants should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, and the ability to work in a team and to coordinate research projects independently. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing and coordinating clinical/community-based trials and survey studies related to tobacco control and alcohol marketing, which involves literature review, intervention and instrument development, subject recruitment, intervention delivery, data collection and analysis, report preparation, and other administrative duties. On-the-job training related to research and statistical methods will be provided.
