Executive Officer/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 201800684) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability) 

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree, and at least 3 years' of work experience preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese and good interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility, good teamwork attitude, the ability of multi-tasking, good organizational and communication skills, and IT proficiency.  Experience in academic programme development, student mobility projects, student recruitment and admissions in tertiary setting are preferred. Those with lower academic qualifications and/or less work experience may be considered for the post of Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).  Recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered.  The appointee will provide administrative support to the coordination and development of various programmes in the Faculty Office.  They will also assist in the implementation of policies and procedures according to the University and Faculty's guidelines on student related matters. He/She will supervise a small team in daily operation of undergraduate student matters, serve as secretary of committees, be involved in course and event management, and perform any other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test.
