Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 201800716) (on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary; or on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and be registered as Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, preferably with clinical work experience. Knowledge of and experience in smoking cessation services or interventions would be an advantage. Applicants should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Cantonese; good communication skills; and the ability to work independently and in a team. The appointee will assist in designing smoking cessation interventions and counselling trial participants under the supervision of Dr. Kelvin Wang. He/She will supervise staff in various research duties, organize trainings and subject recruitment, conduct fidelity checks of the intervention, prepare reports for research projects; and perform other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours will be required occasionally. On-the-job training related to smoking cessation and nursing research will be provided.
