Teaching Assistant (holding the functional title of Teaching Instructor)/Senior Technical Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 201800721) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Education, Psychology or a related discipline; (ii) professional qualifications (e.g., CE(ECE) or PGDE (ECE)) to teach in kindergartens; (iii)  at least 1 year's teaching experience in kindergartens; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); and (v) good organizational skills.

The appointee will be part of a team working on a large-scale school- and community-based multidisciplinary project on comprehensive early childhood intervention in disadvantaged areas in Hong Kong.  He/She will be expected to liaise with kindergartens participating in the project; teach in kindergartens in various locations; and work with collaborators from the social welfare and education sectors. Those with less academic qualifications and/or work experience may be offered the functional title of Executive Assistant (at the rank of Senior Technical Assistant).

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
