Research Assistant II in the School of Public Health (Ref: 201800732) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in ecology, geology, biology, environmental science or related disciplines, with working knowledge/genuine interest in conducting field work and performing laboratory tasks. They should have a good command of English and Chinese. They should also be hard working, detail-oriented, well-organized, reliable, and a good team player. Fresh graduates will also be considered. The appointee will support the daily operation of a research team working on antimicrobial resistance. He/She will assist in coordinating site visits; arranging logistics in sample collection and actual collection; running experiments in laboratories; handling data entry; and managing inter-laboratory coordination.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
