Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201800825) (to commence as soon as possible for half year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in psychology, social sciences, public health or statistics, with at least 1 year’s work experience. Preference will be given to those with research-related experience and experience in coordination of community-based projects, as well as knowledge of applied public health and population sciences. Those who possess a Master’s degree with a track record of relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I. Applicants should be detail-minded, and able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese and English; knowledge of the academic and/or social sectors; and the ability to work closely with external parties such as academics, social service groups, etc. The appointees will perform a wide range of duties including data collection, data management, data analysis, coordination of the production of research reports, and other duties assigned by the supervisors. They will also be responsible for coordination of territory-wide public health programmes, and close liaison with collaborators and the partners.
