Clerk II (holding the functional of Executive Assistant) in the School of Chinese (Ref.: 201800835) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 5 years' work experience preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, and near-native fluency in Putonghua. The ideal candidate should have received proper training to perform complex tasks such as HR and financial management and should have good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to work systematically and independently, and sound knowledge of PC software applications. The selected candidate with a recognized Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' relevant work experience may be offered the functional title of Executive Assistant. The appointee will be expected to provide secretarial support and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
