Project Manager (at the rank of Senior Research Assistant) in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 201800849) ((to commence as soon as possible for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Education, Chinese Language, Social Science or equivalent with at least 3 years'  post-qualification experience, preferably experience in or professional knowledge of Chinese Language education.  They should have excellent administrative, leadership and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with teachers.  They should also be an energetic team leader with initiative and enthusiasm to provide administrative and academic support service to investigators and other stakeholders.

The appointee will oversee a project on "Professional Development Programme for Kindergarten Teachers on Teaching Non-Chinese Speaking Students in Kindergartens", to enhance kindergarten teachers' capacity in promoting non-Chinese speaking kindergarten children's learning of Chinese language. He/She will be expected to coordinate the administrative and professional arrangements of the programme, including course design and promotion, communication with participants, preparation of course materials, course evaluation, etc., and perform other duties as assigned.
