Clerk II (holding the functional title of Project Assistant) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health (Ref: 201800854) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized degree or diploma, with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience. Fresh graduates of high caliber may also be considered. They should be responsible, detail-minded, organized, and a self-disciplined team player with varied clerical and secretarial skills. They should also have good written and oral communication skills; strong learning ability with a research/statistical mindset; good interpersonal skills; and proficiency in PC and software applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint). The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to a busy research team, with specific responsibilities for conference organization, visitor arrangement and teaching support. He/She will work with the Project Manager to coordinate conferences, workshops, meetings, presentations, training/fieldwork activities; and provide secretarial support to a wide range of matters that entail frequent liaison and coordination with internal and external parties; maintain and record project files; and assist in special/ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
