Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201800862) (to commence on November 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in applied psychology, plus a Master’s degree in public health, with relevant research/work experience in environmental/cognitive health. Those with good knowledge in both qualitative and quantitative research tools and methods are highly desirable. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators of a research project on environment, active living and cognitive health, and will take a project manager role in all technical/administrative aspects of the project. He/She is expected to execute a wide range of project management functions inclusive of ensuring compliance of the relevant regulatory requirements; coordinating the development and/or revision of research project protocols and documents; producing necessary reports; performing data quality checks; analyzing research data; preparing ethics updates; building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders; and supervising junior research support staff.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
