Technical Manager/Senior Technical Officer/Senior Research Assistant in Cancer Epidemiology in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201800888) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ research-related work experience. Those with a Master’s degree or above in public health, psychology, health sciences or statistics would be favourably considered. Experience in fieldwork data collection from hospital setting would be an advantage. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; and proficiency in IT. The appointee will provide high-level administrative support to a team of researchers in the area of cancer epidemiology and manage a wide range of research activities. He/She will oversee the data collection and management in the study centers in both hospital and clinic settings; supervise and train junior staff members; produce scientific and technical reports; and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
