Secretary I/II in the President’s Office (Ref.: 201800894) (on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a reputable university degree with at least 3 years' secretarial/administrative experience, preferably gained in tertiary or research institutions. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent software. Other IT and event management skills are advantages. They should also have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a mature personality, the ability to undertake multiple tasks, and must be reliable and committed. The appointee will (i) provide competent secretarial and administrative support to a Vice-President; (ii) coordinate with central administrative offices and academic departments within the University, as well as various external stakeholders and partners locally and internationally; (iii) manage communication, correspondences and documentation as well as local and overseas meetings; and (iv) perform other duties as required. Those with less experience or qualifications may also be considered but as Secretary II.
