Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer in the China Affairs Office of the Admissions and Academic Liaison Section of the Registry (Ref.: 201800895) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years’ work experience, preferably in the education sector. Experience in marketing and China relations is preferred. They should also have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, the ability to work independently with initiative and under pressure, an outgoing personality, good organizational and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and IT proficiency. Applicants with less experience may be appointed as Executive Officer.

The appointee will oversee different teams of colleagues to plan and organize academic workshops, student exchange programmes, networking activities, and perform other duties as assigned by the Section Head. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
