Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the Admissions and Academic Liaison Section of the Registry (Ref.: 201800897) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in the education sector. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a professional accounting qualification would be an advantage. Experience in academic programme management, student recruitment and admissions in tertiary setting are preferred. They should also have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, the ability to work independently, good organizational and communication skills and IT proficiency and be self-motivated.

The appointee will be responsible for the administration, finance and coordination of the summer school programmes. He/She is required to liaise with other faculties within the University and overseas institutions. He/She will also be responsible for student recruitment and perform general clerical duties or any other duties as assigned by the Section Head. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends and travel overseas. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
