Research Assistant II in the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Faculty of Education (Ref.: 201800906) (to commence on June 15, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter for 11 months, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Statistics, Linguistics, or a related field.  They should have native or close to native Cantonese proficiency, strong English and Chinese writing skills; and good computer, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong statistical skills are highly preferred. Prior experiences in research, programming/scripting (e.g., MatLab, R, Praat, Psych Toolbox), eye tracking research and working with young children are desirable.

The appointee will organize and carry out research projects that examine speech and language acquisition in young children and adults, conduct data and acoustic analysis, prepare presentations, manuscripts and research reports, and perform other duties as assigned.  Applicants who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 201800527) need not re-apply.
