Clerical Assistant/Office Attendant in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 201800996) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

For Clerical Assistant, applicants should have completed Form 5, preferably with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language. They should also have at least 3 years' work experience, proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing, and a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

For Office Attendant, applicants should have completed Form 3 or equivalent, with at least 3 years' relevant experience. They should be able to write and speak Chinese and simple English, possess simple arithmetical skills, and have basic IT knowledge including MS Word and Excel.

All applicants should have good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.  The appointee will provide reception counter service and general clerical support to the office, and perform other duties as assigned.
