Research Assistant I/II (2 posts) in the Division of Health Economics, Policy & Management of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 201801022) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in economics, econometrics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer sciences, or other related disciplines. Quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical or computer modeling software (such as R, Stata, Matlab, etc.) would be advantages. Applicants should have strong communication and writing skills in English and Chinese; be detail-orientated; and be able to work in a collaborative team environment. An interest in data science and modeling is desirable, as the appointee will have the opportunity to work on large population datasets for economic evaluation of health care, and econometric modeling of public health policy. He/She may also assist is research writing and occasional administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
