Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 201801028) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess an Associate Degree/Higher Diploma or above, with at least 3 years' solid administrative/secretarial work experience, preferably in the medical and/or tertiary education sectors.  They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; good IT knowledge; and literacy in software applications including Chinese word processing.  Fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage. Applicants should also be attentive to details, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure for tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  The appointee will provide general administrative and secretarial support to the Division or Department Office; assist in organizing conferences, training courses and events; coordinate visitation programme for visitors of the Department; handle financial accounting matters; and perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
