IT Officer/IT Technician in the School of Public Health (Ref.: ­­­­201801032) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above, preferably in computer science, multimedia, communications, media studies, informatics or a related discipline.  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro is required.  Knowledge of motion graphics and web design, and/or experience in data management of large and complex datasets, and statistics, are preferred. Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; good communication skills; be organized, proactive, creative and efficient; be attentive to details; be willing to learn new skills; and have the ability to complete demanding projects with a team or individually. Those with less qualification and/or work experience may be appointed as IT Technician. The appointee will assist in developing multimedia contents including audio/video editing; managing digital assets; and managing research data, including data cleaning, data integration, data extraction, and data reporting. He/She will also provide technical support to school-wide functions and events, and perform general administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
