Research Assistant II in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 201801036) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal) 

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, and a good command of spoken and written English. Those with research experience in materials synthesis are preferred. They should be able to work independently and meet tight schedules. The appointee will perform synthesis of novel metal-based molecular triplet emitters, characterize its photophysical and electrochemical properties, and test performance for organic light-emitting diodes.  Fresh graduates will also be considered and training will be provided, if necessary. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
