Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 201801044) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree, preferably an MBA with at least 4 years’ full-time work experience. Those who have work experience in the Technology/Technology-related sectors would have an advantage.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and be able to communicate in Cantonese and/or Putonghua.  They should also have good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, strong presentation and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and be a good team player with the capacity to handle multi-tasks and be attentive to details.  Our mission is to support students to fulfil their career goals.  To this end, we assist students in defining career objectives that are consistent with their interests, skills, values, and personalities. We prepare students in mastering the job search skills and in connecting with employers in the relevant industry specific fields. The successful candidate will build and develop key relationships with hiring partners, provide career coaching and training activities to students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, facilitate students’ learning experience by organizing various career development company visits, and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
