Part-time Senior Research Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref: 201801046) (to commence on September 1, 2018 or as soon as possible until August 31, 2019)

Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above and at least 1 year's post-qualification work experience. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.   The appointee will work for an EDB-commissioned project on assessment literacy of mathematics teachers to enhance effective learning and teaching in primary schools.  He/She will support the project team, in collaboration with teachers at the project schools, to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the project.  Main duties include supporting the design and writing of the learning, teaching and assessment materials (including e-learning materials) on selected topics of primary mathematics; on-site video-shooting of selected lessons; editing suitable video-clips; preparing the transcripts of selected segments of the lessons or interviews with students/teachers; collecting and analysing data on various components of the project; and supporting the project team at different stages of data analyses and evaluation.
