Multimedia Assistant (at the rank of Senior Technical Assistant) in the Communications and Public Affairs Office of the Registry (Ref.: 201801056) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal) 
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Those with a Bachelor’s degree or above in Multimedia, Communications, Media Studies or related disciplines will be preferred.  Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office is required.  Knowledge of motion graphics, storyboarding, web design and social media works would be an advantage.  Solid administration skills will also be appreciated.  They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; good communication skills; be organized, proactive, creative and efficient; be attentive to details, have willingness to learn new skills and have the ability to complete demanding multimedia projects with a team or individually.  The appointee will be responsible for assisting the development of multimedia content for a university-wide TV channel (U-Vision) with multimedia design, audio/video editing, digital asset management, program scheduling, production research, script-writing, and general administrative duties.  More information on U-Vision of the Communications and Public Affairs Office (CPAO) can be found here:
